    Hi there!

    I installed the plugin so that I can send a followup email after a customer purchase a specific product. I have synced successfully and I see 15/15 synced products in the Mailchimp overview tab in my wordpress backoffice.

    Problem is, when I create the automation in MailChimp and select as a trigger “purchase specific product” I see a list of 9 elements, some of which are not even products (but publications)!

    I’m freaking out a little bit. Tried to resync, deleted the integration in Mailchimp, uninstall and reinstall, nothing.

    Tried also to look up online but I cannot figure out what I’m doing wrong. Hope you can help me!

  • following as i have the same pb and no automation is going out after the purchases also.. I think i’ll look for another platform

    @sscannerdarkly @caticap sorry to hear you’re having trouble with the plugin – but this should be fairly easy to fix. What you’re describing doesn’t sound like what you should be seeing – so I would first ask if you have tried to “search” the product in that dropdown vs. just looking at the list. Mailchimp only displays 10 products there, and you have to search for the product by name in order to find what you’re looking for. Please let us know if that does the trick, otherwise we’ll have to dig into that further for you.

    Question though – have you reached out to Mailchimp’s support while logged into your account yet to ask them this question? Here at the plugin team we don’t have any insight to your accounts.

    Also – @caticap to touch on your “automation not firing” that’s another perfect use case to request support from Mailchimp in the app.

    Indeed I tried to search instead of opening the dropdown, but I am able to search only on the 10 products listed in the dropdown. None of the others show up.

    Hope you can help me in figure this out.

    @scannerdarkly we’ve updated the plugin today to 2.4.1, but I’m not sure this is going to solve any of the issues you have brought up. I believe the best thing for you to do is reach out to Mailchimp’s support team and ask them to show you exactly how to search for the products you’re looking for. The Dropdown menu from what I understood has a search feature that you’ll need to use to find the product. The 10 items are a default – and you should be able to search in that filter.
