After domain change site kit keeps tracking old domain in search console
-
I changed my domain months ago and did a transfer in search console from the old to the new domain.
The domain transfer on search console isn’t 100% done yet – I still get two or three clicks to the old domain (which is 301’ed) per day, but other than that, search console works for the new domain.
But in site-kit, the default domain remains the old domain. Is there something that I’m missing? How do I make site-kit pull the stats from the new domain and not the old one?
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

@mrsuperflex While the issue may be in relation to the Search Console transfer not being 100% complete can you share your Site Health information we can investigate this further?

@mrsuperflex thanks for the info!
I can see under the
### google-site-kit ###
section that the pervious domain is still registered on the Site Kit service for Search Console :search_console_property: https://myloveofmornings.com/
Let’s see if refreshing the connection on the service helps. Please try the following:
1) Reset Site Kit
2) Proceed through the setup process (and reconnect services)
3) Provide the### google-site-kit ###
section of your Site Health info anewIt seems that resetting the plugin was all it takes – it shows the right stats now – thanks!
@mrsuperflex thanks for the update and happy to hear that solved it!
Feel free to leave a review about your experience with Site Kit.
