Hi, can I ask if this plugin can only translate one language, which is chosen at the setting, into other languages? What if there are different languages that need translation at the same time? For example, users are using both Spanish and French, and want both of them to be translated into English.

    Thanks and regards

  • Hi and thanks for the question.

For better performance with GTranslate, it’s better to have a site in one original language.
You should choose that language from the settings page and the plugin will make a translation from that language.

In case of having mixed content: original content is in more than one language, you can select auto-detect as the original language from the plugins settings page, but in this case the quality of the translation may suffer.

With Gtranslate’s paid plans you can edit translations right on the translated pages.
Make sure to give it a try.

Thank you very much for your explanation.

I have another question is I plan to feed all the posts and images of products from my website to social medias, such as facebook, instagram, pinterest and so on, so will the words (if any) coming with the posts and images be the original untranslated ones or their translation?

    Hi,

If you use our paid version, every post will have a separate link for each language and when you share a specific language it will appear on social medias as translated.

This is not possible with the free version.

    Thanks! ??
