    Iwan

the scores in gt metrix have dropped a lot due to this plugin.

It comes the Leverage browser caching, even the max recommended by you of 600 is too low according to gt metrix.

And also because of not using use cookie-free domains the score drops

    With Kind Regards,

    Iwan

    Hi @mike9712 ,
this plugin aims to decrease the TTFB time for the HTML page (the first request). You can add leverage browser caching rules for static assets by enabling the option Add browser caching rules for assets or by using other plugins like wp-rocket.

You cannot use the native browser caching rules of Cloudflare, it is also written in the FAQ.

Regarding the cookie-free domains: Cloudflare add a cookie, named __cfduid, on each request. It is a behavior of Cloudflare, not of this plugin. You can also deactivate the plugin but the “problem” about the cookie-free domain remains if you continue to use Cloudflare.

    Let me know

This is the result of a GTMetrix test on a website where I use:

    1. WP Cloudflare Super Page Cache as page caching plugin
    2. Litespeed Cache plugin for on page optimization

    https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.brokerbet.it/bcfFOTSi

I’m using also a beta testing option that I will release on next version, a fallback cache. It’s an internal page cache that decrease the TTFB when the cache on Cloudflare expires, so you don’t need to use other plugins to do page caching.

Regarding the browser caching, I’m using the leverage browser caching rules added into .htaccess from WP Cloudflare Super Page Cache.
