• Goddammit. You just broke my design with the latest update.

Apparently the fix: Default line-height value in Heading widget is overriding line-height setting in Theme Style (#10501, #10649) broke the headings on my site. Their padding just became not symmetric (too much on the bottom) with that latest update so now I’m using your update from before. So could you please fix that the way it was before or tell me a quick fix on my headings?

  • Hi,

We are sorry for your inconvenience.

The latest update shouldn’t be causing your layout/design to break.
Please try changing the styling of the heading via the Theme Style options.

If it won’t help you solve the issue,
you can perform a rollback to the previous version of Elementor, and let us know if the issue is resolved.

Yeah I made a rollback. That’s how I found out that your update is causing the problem. However I’d like to be able to use your most recent updates since there will usually be some bug fixes that actually help my site.

Also this problem is your responsibility so please tell me which setting to change on theme style options to fix it? I don’t have time to fix your errors. The default styling of headings should be symmetric don’t you think?

Sorry for being a douche but the last thing I want is your freaking updates to start messing with my design so this issue is really punching my nerves.

I have to let my frustration out here too. I have had exactly the same problem since the update. So it’s definitely up to the update and it just can’t be that updates change things like that. You have to be able to rely on the fact that your own design remains unattended! I also ask for quick help. I am an Elementor Pro user and the support has not responded to me yet.

Same here. Latest update of Elementor messed my site up. I have Elementor Pro and it’s really disappointing that I have to consider to update your plugin or not because there’s a huge chance that after update my sites could be messed up. It’s not a first time that after update I had to repair the mess on my site Elementor did.

Thank you for reporting this to us,

We are sorry for your inconvenience.

Our developers are aware of this issue, and we are doing our best to fix this in a short time.

    In the meanwhile,
you can try removing the existing value of the Line-height in the Theme Style settings or set the value to 1, it should resolve this,

If it won’t solve this issue you can perform a rollback to the previous available Elementor version, until we fix this.

Ok thanks for your reply. Removing the existing value of the Line-height in the Theme Style settings or set the value to 1 unfortunately didn’t work for me. But if it is fixed in the next patch, I will use the version before that meanwhile..

@zimpleman Could you please send me your System Info? You can find it under WP Dashboard > Elementor > System Info,
and paste it here, so we could know more details on how recreate this issue on our side, based on the issue you have mentioned.

My system info to pastebin? As public? Do you really think I want to share it with everyone on internet?

Now get your shit together and give an email or something.

    Hi @zimpleman,

    I understand your concern,
but www.remarpro.com rules state that we are not allowed to provide email support here.

Our developers are already taking care of the Theme Style issue.

But in order for us to understand what is causing the issue to happen,
is it okay to know which theme have you used, when this occurred?

    Astra

    I also use Astra…

    Astra here too.

The problem is still not solved with the latest update! I have to roll back again…

The latest update repaired the problem for me. Sort of.

Headings look pretty much okay now but I still have to tweak them littlebit. Why the hell did you started making changes to that feature in the first place? It was working perfectly fine. Very stupid move.

Finally after the last Astra update, it works fine for me if I set the line height for all headings to 1 in the Astra Customizer…
