Redirect Page Directly to Category without showing empty page??

I would like my “newspage” (showing navigation menu on top) to open up a blog within my site without the user even knowing he went to a page.

Normally I would just create a page with a link in it, but I think an entire page is a bit much for 1 link.

Please help
