Hide duplicate product gallery images

    Hi.

    Is there a way to hide duplicate images (same attachment url) on product pages through the filter / function ?

    Sometimes 2 or 3 same pictures were added as a main product image and in the gallery. Quite a few products are like that, if there was a way to hide these through the code, that would be great.

  • Hey @donlee101 !

    It sounds like you are seeing some duplicate images in your product image galleries. Are you seeing these show up only on the front end? Or are these all set in your product image gallery section of the product editor?

    There is not a code that we have that could filter out these duplicate images if they are set in your product editor. You could hire a developer to fix this problem for you. We highly recommend using developers on our Customizations Page. You would need to manually go in and remove each one.

    If you are not seeing them in your product editor and they are showing up on the front end then this could be an issue with a plugin or theme. I would suggest testing a different theme while disabling all plugins except WooCommerce to see if that helps.

    After doing all this if you are still seeing the issue please feel free to let us know. Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
    Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
