This is an issue, that has been mentioned several times for several years!
And I have no idea why Wordfence don’t address the issue…

We (me and many others) want to have our own page for blocked visitors.

As it has been mentioned in several other posts; the bots are not “seeing” the page (they are only interested in the codes, 503,404,200) but if a real visitor comes along, and sees the current page, that totally strange for them, and doesn’t look anything like the main site are getting confused!

So why isn’t this an option?

Some claims it would effect the speed, but that’s not an issue with today’s servers..

Is it really necessary to manually change the code in wordfence, and risk to compromise the system?

Since wordfence apparently ignores this issue, I need you other people’s help.
    Is there anyway to hack
around this and make it display an own page?

  • Hey @catsfoto1se,

I really do understand the desire for this, and it is a feature request. However, I don’t have a timeline on when/if it’ll be implemented. I’ll add a link to this thread so we can update you with any progress. These decisions on what to implement are based on the developers’ time and prioritization of more security-related updates. But as I mentioned, I do understand the desire and think it would be a great feature.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
