Importer says everything is imported, but posts, pages & Plugins are not

  • Hello,
    to test changes I created a folder an wanted to clone the old installation to this folder.
    I created the XML-file an imported it to the new installation.

    WP says everything okay, but only users show up in the dashboard. No posts, pages and plugins show up in the dashboard or fronten. When I repeated the import, it says that all the content is already existing. But still nothing shows up.

    What went wrong? How do I get my content into the new wp-installation?
