When loading more products, it stops my “Quick View” plugin from working

  • Hello,

    I use a quick view plugin that allows customers to view the product on the same page. You can do this by hovering over a product and clicking on “Quick View”. This works fine, but when you load more products and the URL updates, this quick view button doesn’t do anything when you click on it.

    Please could you help with this,

    Hello Jonathan,

    Quick View functionality is not working after products are replaced dynamically. Our plugin has After Update field on the plugin settings page tab Javascript. There you can enter Javascript code from the Quick View plugin to re-initialize their Javascript for the loaded products.

    Hi Dima,

    I copy and pasted the javascript for the quick view plugin, however, that hasn’t seemed to change anything.

    Any ideas?

    Hello Jonathan,

    If you enter the code to our plugin After Update field and it is not working there are only 2 possible things:
    1. You have cache plugin and need to purge the cache
    2. The code you inserted in our field is not working correctly

    Hi Dima,

    I have tried this several times, and have put the full javascript code for the quick view plugin into all 3 fields (before updating, during and after). The issue still remains. I cleared all caches after saving the changes. The code works on the first page (before the infinite scroll occurs).

    Any ideas?
