i must deactivate wpml plugin to access again to wp update. but the problem runs out just after update yoast to 14.1

    Hi @nicco1984,

    Thank you for your reply.

We know that WPML and other multilingual plugins are not yet fully compatible with the 14.x release. If you have WPML on your site, we recommend to rollback to 13.5 until their team has released a new version that is compatible.

In order to do this, you can download the 13.5 version on the advanced view of our plugin here. At the bottom there’s a dropdown field where you can select the 13.5 release. You can then deactivate Yoast SEO plugin and delete the 14.1 version and install the 13.5 version.

Hi Jeroen, really thanks for your hint.
could i update wordpress-seo (13.5) in /wp-content/plugins and delete actual one (14.1) without erasing yoast seo settings?

    thanks

    Hi @nicco1984,

Yes, that should work as well. You won’t lose settings or previously entered data as all of that is stored in your database. However, we always recommend having backups of your site.
