Hi, I am using “Ads for WP – Advanced Ads & Adsense Solution for WP & AMP
    By Magazine3” for displaying ads.

I am trying to use “user targeting” to display ads at separate locations on the desktop & mobile.

But I got this warning message:

Warning: You are using WP3 Total Cache plugin, if you want User Targeting for ‘Device Type’ to work perfectly we recommend you to enable Mobile Support of your cache plugin.

Do I have to worry about this?
How can I enable the “Mobile Support” option?

    Hello @qph9697

thank you for your inquiry and I am happy to assist you with this.
This might be a question for the support of the plugin you are using. ANd this is not an error but simply a notification.
I am not sure what they mean by “enable Mobile Support of your cache plugin” as there is no such an option in W3 Total Cache.
The only thing that you can do is to use user agent Groups.
Go to Perforance>User Agent Groups and there you can create (enable) a group of user agents by specifying names in the user agents field. Assign a set of user agents to use a specific theme, redirect them to another domain, or if an existing mobile plugin is active, create user agent groups to ensure that a unique cache is created for each user agent group. Drag and drop groups into order (if needed) to determine their priority (top -> down).
So if you are not using any mobile plugin simply enable the group and select your theme in the theme: drop-down menu, save all settings and purge the cache.
If you are using a mobile plugin, enable the group, keep the pass-through in the Theme: drop-down, and enter the redirect.
    Thank you!

Hi, since my theme is responsive, I am not using any mobile plugin.

So should I even enable it, because, even though I am not enabling, any user irrespective of desktop or mobile, uses my default theme GeneratePress.

So, should I enable it or not?

Should I be bothered with the notification I got?
Will it affect the ads for my users?

If it doesn’t then I will ignore the notification.

    Hello @qph9697

This should not be an issue.
We cannot test W3 Total Cache with all the plugins out there.
If you start to experience any issues you should enable it. Since your users are getting the propper pages there is no need for it.
    Thank you!
