    Someone surely knows?:(

    Hi @samkat1,

Thanks for the question. We have updated details about the new way of changing the Open Graph metadata using wpseo_frontend_presenter here: https://developer.yoast.com/blog/yoast-seo-14-0-adding-metadata/.

In the meantime, the wpseo_opengraph action that you may see in examples has been deprecated in 14.0, but full backward-compatibility should be coming in the 14.2 release.

The problem is that it is too complicated lol. I just need someone to paste a code to add to functions.php I was able to disable it all but i don’t want to do that. Are you saying that i was not able to do it because of an issue and in version 14.2 it will be fixed?

@samkat1 Unfortunately we can’t offer support on custom code (needed to change (core) features of our plugin). Since we don’t want to take the risk that we break your website by suggesting incorrect or incomplete code, we cannot advise you on how to make such changes. Maybe someone watching these forums can assist you further, but if your topic is inactive for 7 days, we’ll mark it as resolved to keep the overview.

    Thank you for your understanding.

Ok so what “Priscilla Chapman (@priscillamc)” said above you is correct or not because you send mixed messages.

What she said is correct, we just aren’t able to offer direct support for coding in this forum.

@priscillamc can you please confirm if this should be working with 14.2 or not yet?

Trying to filter out datePublished and dateModified via functions.php

    Nothing is removing it

    Thanks

Hi @samkat1, Sorry for the confusion. Unfortunately, backwards-compatibility support hasn’t been added in the 14.2 version for the deprecated Open Graph filters.

You may be able to modify this code example by replacing Modified with Published: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/15145
