    Hi,

We are getting the following text at the bottom of our Gallery page:

“You are trying to display a gallery, but no input was provided.”

Why are we getting this? Our photos are from a Flickr account.

    Thanks,

    Andrew

I think you are confusing two things here. If I am not mistaken, you have set up this page as the “Dedicated page to use for gallery display” under Photonic → Settings → Generic Options → Photo Template, and then you have gone ahead and inserted a shortcode into that page.

As the description of that setting says, it is meant for something very different. That page is not meant for you to create galleries – that page gets dynamically populated when you click on an album from a different page. See the demo page, under “Example 3 – Album on a Separate Page“. When you click on one of the thumbnails in that album, you are taken to a new page, where all the photos from that album are shown.

What you are trying to do is unrelated to this setting. You have to simply set that option to be blank and save your settings.

I am marking this resolved. Please feel free to reopen if you are still facing challenges.
