category links in sidebar

  • Why is it that when I click on a category in the side bar it always shows all the posts and not just that category’s posts. I have my posts categorized and tagged correctly. I’ve read about changing or updating the permalinks.. but nothing has worked so far… anything will help at this point. thanks, https://www.adubsdesign.com/blog

  • You’ve got a permalink problem. There’s a “double url” in your category links:

    https://adubsdesign.com/blog/http:/adubsdesign.com/blog/category/auto

    Check your site url in Admin/Settings/General.

    It seems like the double url is gone at times but comes back randomly. I’m not sure where it’s coming from and my categories still don’t differentiate the posts like they should even when there isn’t a double url. esmi – you are very helpful , I’ve noticed you reply to a lot of peoples issues.. Just want to say thanks!! Hopefully I’ll hear from you again, or someone with another suggestion.

    https://adubsdesign.com/blog/category/bmx Is this the way it should be if I’m using custom structure permalinks like this /%category%/%postname%
    Should it just be https://adubsdesign.com/blog/bmx if the category is bmx
