Social Sharing

  • Hello,

    Is it possible to send out the Newsletter with social sharing buttons in it, so the recipients can share the whole Newsletter easily on facebook, twitter, etc.?

    I can only find the normal social buttons which link to our facebook-page, twitter-page, etc. – but not the real sharing buttons.

    As you mentioned, the Email Editor provides you with “Social” buttons that link to your social media accounts. As a workaround, you can use the Email Editor you can customize the links used for the social links. Here’s how you can create a custom link to share you email newsletter:

    1. To get the url to view the newsletter on a browser, go to the email editor, scroll to the bottom and click on Preview >> View in Broswer >> Open in new tab, then copy the URL in the new tab.

    2. You can use free online tools to create Social Sharing links, simply look for “Share Link Generator”.

    3. Go back to the Email Editor, go to the Social widget and edit the link to any of the Social media buttons (Facebook, Instagram, etc) with the new social sharing links you’ve created.

    I was looking for this topic but unfortunately I think it’s not a relevant way to do that. This service is so crutial for publishers to motivate members in order to share their newsletter so it should be embedded in the editor as a widget. Also there is no Whatsapp button (as a social media) in your editor, it’s one of the most important channel to distribute. Is there any way that you can develop this feature in a short term?
