    Hello everyone,

First thank you all, as I found a lot of useful (and lifesaving) info on this forum.

I did not found a clear answer elsewhere so I’m asking you :

I use WP Cerber for my website security and I want to use a custom login URL and disable wp-login.php.
I use Woocommerce and I have set up a custom login page for customers with the Wc shortcode.

If I use a custom login URL and disable wp-login.php : will it mess the Wc login process ?

I’m using the lastest version of WordPress and Wc v.3.9.3

    Thank you very much,
    Matt

  • Hi @highdub ,

The custom login page using woocommerce does not depend upon the default login page of WordPress.

I assume you are using shortcode of my-account page for creating custom login page.

Please let me know your response.

    Hi Ketan, thank you

Yes I created a custom page with shortcodes.

So if I understand what you said, it means that even if I disable wp-login.php, my customers won’t have troubles to log in their account using wc my-account page ?

That would be nice, can you please confirm ?

    Thank you very much

    Hi @highdub ,

    Yes you are correct.

The WC My account page doesn’t depend upon the default wp-login.php page. So you can move forward to disable the page.

Let me know if you face any difficulty.

So it works like a charm ! Everything is secured, I’m happy ??

Thank you again, and take care of you !
