    Hi @alriksson

Thanks for reaching out to us!

When WPvivid Backup plugin (both free and pro) is deleted, everything related to it will be deleted automatically, except for the wp-content/wpvividbackups folder and backup files under it. This is actually a safe option in case the user does not have backups stored elsewhere.

However, if you prefer to remove that folder with the backup files as well, we can add an option for that.

Yes, that would be great, would like all DB tables and rows to be deleted together with the folder.

    Hey @alriksson

    Just a quick update:

As discussed earlier, we’ve added the option in the yesterday’s release (0.9.41).

Please update the plugin and check it out.

To use the option, please go to WPvivid > General Settings page > Check “Delete the /wpvividbackups folder and all backups in it when deleting WPvivid Backup plugin” > Save Changes

Great!! So with this enabled non-leftovers in files or db form free or pro plugin?

I have updated but can not see this new setting?

    Hey @alriksson

Yes, exactly, with this option enabled, all the files will be deleted. The DB tables will be automatically deleted as well.

Please make sure that you have updated to the version 0.9.41. The option is in the 1st block of the General Settings page and the full name is “Delete the /wpvividbackups folder and all backups in it when deleting WPvivid Backup plugin”.

I have 0.9.41 but I can still not find it. Would It be due to PRO version?

this forum is for free plugin only.

If you need support for PRO version – contact plugin vendor using their site/ticket system/email/whatever…

@fierevere I’m aware, I just asked the developer if this could be the cause I’m not seeing this new feature he is referring to.

@tonyrobins So I should only activate the free version and tick this box and then delete both of them am I correct?

    Hi @alriksson

Sorry I should have been clearer. Yes, I was referring to the settings in the free version from the beginning.

For pro version questions, please feel free to contact us at WPvivid.com > Submit A Ticket

    Thank you!

    All the best
