Using bbpress bbPM private messaging plugin for WordPress

Hi all, I would like to install a private messaging system for my WordPress users, however I could not find a PM plugin for WordPress that I liked, and that I could integrate into my theme.

Therefore, what I have done is installed bbpress, integrated it with WordPress, and I am hoping to use the bbPM plugin for my WordPress site.

I have some concerns, though:

1. Will this make my site too bloated by requiring it to load too many files at once?
2. Does this present any security issues?
3. Is there a way to change the PM URL from https://example.com/forums/my-plugins/bbpm to a URL that is more like https://example.com/pm or whatever?
