• I’m considering moving from Google Blogger to WordPress, and have been experimenting with the various available themes. I like the look of OceanWP.

Now I’d like to know if it is possible to have the same layout as my current blog.

The main page shows the introduction, which is transparent over a background image. The entries on the list links to individual pages. As each link is selected, it display the relevant page with the list still visible on the right.

Also, is it possible to e.g. have a agreement button which confirms that the user is over a certain age?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hello @docbean,

Thank you for considering OceanWP for your project ??

Of course, WordPress has far more opportunities than Blogger, so you can really create almost anything you can imagine. If you haven’t chosen your hosting provider yet, make sure they do allow this type of content (not all hosting providers approve this).

As for your question, absolutely. You can create a separate homepage, you can set an image as a website background and you can have sidebar, and really much more. You can check out all the OceanWP features, or, if it’s easier for you, checkout the comparison.

But ultimately, the best advice I could give you is that you can be certain about some things only when you see for yourself ?? So I would encourage you to install OceanWP on a localhost or on a subdomain and test to see if it fits your needs.

Let me know if this was helpful or if you have any other questions
