Star rating not showing even with the variable set

    Hello Support,

    I’m having a problem displaying the Amazon star rating on my site. Other variables work but not this. The variable is set as expected but nothing displays.

    Also, I notice that some times some pages stop getting data from Amazon then when I check back after a while they data appear.

    Please help.

    All amazon star ratings and reviews have been removed from the latest Amazon API (Version 5.0), so they will return a null response (nothing will show) in the plugin when used.

    Unfortunately, we have no control over this. We kept the options there, as Amazon says they have plans to add it again in the near future. As of right now, we have no idea when that will be.

    Sorry for any issues – but this one is out of our control at this time.

    Additionally,
    The missing data (item not showing) is most likely from Throttling. The number of calls amazon allows is a lot less than it used to be. Plus they no longer are allowing multiple calls per second. If you are seeing this happen a lot, try increasing the cache time and be sure to turn on the cache ahead option.
