Auto deleting for not activated Accounts not working

  • Hi there,
    i like this plug in very much. I have set up in settings -> Extended Settings (tab5) the set up: Autodelete not activated members “older then 1 Month”, but it is not working for me. I have members in the database which are quite older, so today i have deleted ALL of them by hand.

    Any suggestions for this issue?

    Did the members above registered in your site while this feature was active? And did they register via the Simple Membership registration form?

    Yes and yes, i only use this forms i created with SWPM.

    So, when the auto delete option kicks in does it delete the member from Members tab? But it keeps a record in your database. Is this correct?

    No the Members are still in the Members Tab, where i can sort by “active”, “inactive” “need activation” etc.

    Hi, do you think another plugin might be interfering with this action? Try the following, deactivate and delete the plugin. Then install a fresh copy. Monitor this and report back if it did not work. Sometimes reinstalling a fresh copy of a plugin fixes little glitches.

    Hi there,

    don’t know if another plug in is interfering, but i don`t think so as all other parts are working fine. The problem is on a live page i can not deactivate all plug ins for 1 mmth to see if it then works.

    Regarding deinstall and reinstall:
    If i deinstall the plug in, and reinstall it will all my set ups still be there? Because i don’t like to set up the hole section again.

    Create a backup of your site or at least your database just in case something goes wrong. However you don’t lose any settings when reinstalling the plugin.

    Ok, and the additional Extra Plug Ins like Form builder, Form Shortcode etc.? I mean do i need to deactivate and delete them as well? Or just the “Core” Plug In?

    Please deactivate them while installing a fresh copy of Simple Membership plugin. Also make sure you are running the latest version of any addon installed in your site.
