Change Cart and Checkout design without changing the theme

Dear folks,

I use the Ascension theme for my website and I have integreated a woocommerce shop into it now.
However, the cart and checkout pages look awful and I’m looking for a way to adjust their design to make it look maybe like “Storefront” without changing the whole theme of my website.

Is this somehow possible? I’m not comfortable with coding, I was wondering if I could just copy the cart- and checkout-files from another theme into my theme? does that work?

or any other ideas?
