    Hello,

It would seem that including multiple FAQ categories is not working. I watched a video that showed an example of this. Unless I am overlooking something, my shortcode (below) is not working–only one category is displayed on the FAQ page.

    Ex. Shortcode:
    [ultimate-faqs include_category='general-questions-home, transferring-pokemon-home']

Thanks so much for everything you do!

  • We have duplicate content showing under https://moneymappress.com/subscription/straight-line-profits/p/straight-line-profits-faq/ with questions that have the ‘PSV’ heading.

We don’t want the duplicate content here either. In this context, we are using this as short code:
    [ultimate-faqs include_category=’straight-line-profits’]
    [ultimate-faqs include_category=’general-faqs’]
—–In this context, I would expect the content in Orders and Payments to show once.

What should we do so we are not getting this duplicate content?

    Hi mcminnkl,

If you go to the “Categories” tab of the plugin settings, could you confirm that these two exist in the ‘Slugs’ column of the right side table:

    general-questions-home
    transferring-pokemon-home”

    Hi Jay,

Yes sir, the two slugs indeed exist. However, their respective names are slightly different.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Hi Jay,

I just wanted to know if you’ve looked at this yet–I’m kinda dead in the water until I can either figure this out or find an alternative. Could I perhaps, in the meantime, have some kind of hotfix?

    Thanks so much!

    Hi Kevin,

This functionality has always worked. It’s definitely working in the current version of the plugin. That would mean, something is either not set up or entered correctly on your end. All I can say is make sure you’re inputting the slugs in the shortcode exactly as they appear in the Categories tab. Make sure there is no spaces anywhere in the include_category attribute (e.g. not after the quotes or commas). You can use the exact below shortcode and see if that makes any difference.

    [ultimate-faqs include_category='general-questions-home,transferring-pokemon-home']

    Hi Jay,

Boom! It was the space between my categories that was breaking this functionality. Thanks so much, man!

Edit: Just so you know, this is the tutorial I followed… and it uses a space. You can see that at around the 1-minute mark. Since the YouTube channel is the official channel for your product, it may be worth redoing this video.
