  • Hi @livilajed,

Thanks for your message. Would you be able to share a screenshot of the notification in Search Console, and the link to the relevant page on your site?

    Thanks a million!

We are sorry to hear that you are having an issue with the Yoast SEO plugin, and we’d be more than happy to investigate the matter further for you.

We looked at the relevant page and see the two items name in the breadcrumbs path are missing and as such, you’re getting such warning in Google search console.

This issue typically occurs when using a special page template or custom functionalities for the template. Therefore, we’d like you to please perform a conflict check first to find out the exact cause of the issue.

The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme?like?Twenty Nineteen.?

Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

As we can imagine that you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.

I deactivated all non-Yoast plugins and switched to Twenty Twenty theme
    The problem still exists.

I found the cause of the problem
I am using this code:<i class="fa fa-home"></i> for the Homepage anchor text
Version 13 did not have this problem

    I will use CSS instead.

Ah, good to know! We are also using a Font Awesome home icon for the Homepage anchor text and ran into this exact same Google Search Console issue over the weekend after upgrading the Yoast plugin. Thanks for posting your solution!
