    Hi,

I use Woocommerce and I was a bit confused by this statement in this plugin’s description

Sites running WooCommerce get another style added to the <head> section of the site. With the Classic Editor Addon installed that call is obviously redundant.

Can you provide some sample code / screenshot of this style?

Do you mean that another style added to the <head> is REMOVED by Classic Editor Addon? Or is it that another style added to the <head> is made redundant BECAUSE of Classic Editor Addon?

I hope you are able to understand my confusion. I wish to understand the benefits of a plugin completely.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Thank you for the sample.

    Now about

Do you mean that another style added to the <head> is REMOVED by Classic Editor Addon? Or is it that another style added to the <head> is made redundant BECAUSE of Classic Editor Addon?

    Please clarify.

    Thanks

Do you mean that another style added to the <head> is REMOVED by Classic Editor Addon?

Yes, that is exactly what the Classic Editor Addon takes care of.

It removes the added styling for the block editor as is described in the sentence following the description you quoted (emphasis mine):

“Sites running WooCommerce get another style added to the <head> section of the site. With the Classic Editor Addon installed that call is obviously redundant. With version 2.5.0 we introduce a condition that checks for WooCommerce and if active it removes that call. Win!

Of course it should be expected that the main Classic Editor plugin would do this in the first place, so my plugin would not be necessary, but the people behind the former are the very same that added the horrible block editor to WP. Anyways, that is probably a topic for a different discussion altogether.

    Hope it is clear now.
