Breaks site health checks, possibly when not connected

    Jetpack is breaking site health, throwing the below error in the console and preventing other checks such as in the theme from running.

    This occurs on a local development site, as such is not connected. I checked a live site that is connected and there was no issue, so that may be related.

    Occurs with Jetpack the only plugin active, TwentyTwenty theme active

    Hi there,

    If this only happens on a local site, please make sure you have Jetpack configured to run in development mode. That should prevent any errors caused by Jetpack being unable to load resources that rely on a connection to WordPress.com:

    Thanks for the suggestion, but the error still occurs. It was in dev mode when I first encountered it

    Do you mean the console in the browser inspector?

    I just checked with a local installation (using MAMP), with Jetpack in dev mode, but I don’t see any problems on the Site Health screen, nor do I see any errors in the browser console, so it looks like this might be specific to your site.

    Please see if completely deleting the Jetpack folder and then re-installing the plugin makes any difference.

    Also check if disabling other plugins on the site makes any difference. The error message you posted doesn’t appear to mention Jetpack, so that’s something worth ruling out.

    I have exactly same issue on live website. Jetpack breaks Site Health. My wordpress and plugins updated. Site Helath page doesn’t work and I see similar javascript errors:

    I’m having the exact same issue. Does anyone know what to do here? I need to have Jetpack enabled in order to connect it with WooCommerce services.
