• Hi there, you deleted my 1 star review and asked that I open a support request instead.

    Here is my review:

why is it so hard to find a simple social media plugin that isn’t harvesting you and your users data?

I just want links and pretty buttons.

This privacy policy is linked from within the plugin once you set it up… or save yourself the time and read it here: https://www.oracle.com/legal/privacy/addthis-privacy-policy.html

I’m not sure if there are better options out there… maybe other plugins are doing the same thing, but don’t even have the courtesy to notify you.

My review was not a support request, just pointing out to other users that when they use your plugin they are signing up to have their data and the data of their site visitors sold.

Now here is my support request:

If you’re worried about unfair criticism, why not address the terms of the privacy policy.

    For example, it says that,

You have privacy rights for the information we process about you. You can choose to opt-out of third party sharing or selling and object to our use of your personal information, delete your personal information, or access your personal information.

If that is fully true, I’m assuming there is a setting somewhere in the plugin that allows users to turn off all data sharing?

Can I use the plugin and opt out of having Oracle collect, share and sell data from my site?
