Read more doesn’t format hidden text

    Hi, hope you can help – relatively new to wordpress and plugins.
    Your plugin worked super smooth on install, but once I got it in use, I noticed it does not carry through the formatting of the hidden text. Is there more to the shortcode that would do this, or will I have to reformat the hidden text?

  • I am just another user, but I found that if you insert a paragraph break after the [read more] tag that my styling came back to the text. I hope it works for you!

    @loreburek Shared URL contains a draft, which Im not able to preview as a user.
    @zobottherobot Can I have a more detailed feedback (possibly with screenshots) about it? Sounds interesting and if there’s something that goes wrong, I need to follow this up for future fix.

    This caused the styling problem, keeping the shortcode inline:

    Some Text here Some Text here Some Text here Some Text here [read more] Your long text Your long text Your long text Your long text [/read]

    This fixed it, paragraph spaces between:

    Some Text here Some Text here Some Text here Some Text here

    [read more]

    Your long text Your long text Your long text Your long text

    [/read]

    Are you using text mode or graphical mode of the editor? And is Gutenberg or TinyMCE editor in your case?
