• Hi there.

Are there any ways to protect user emails from developers, content managers, managers of shop and etc. From people who have rights to work in admin area with site, also from people who have access to database of wordpress. What are the best practises to protect user emails for example? We can see user email without any encryption in database also in admin area. What could you advice? I think it is quite often when company get data leakage because of dishonest employees, we all see it in news very often.

    So what we should do?

This is a legal thing rather than a technology thing. Admins and developers will have access to all the data on your site. One assumes you’ve got some sort of contract with them, so that needs to be worked into the contract. We cannot provide legal advice, however, so I recommend contacting your legal team.
