Stuck with ‘database tables’ error.
-
Some of our websites didn’t give MySQL users full permissions, for the sake of heightened security (seemed a good idea at the time). These appear to be the websites which have produced the error:
“Yoast SEO was unable to create the database tables required and as such will not function correctly.”I understand this – but why, after giving the MySQL user full permissions, does the error still appear?
I’ve tried removing the plug-in and reinstalling. I’ve also tried removing it, installing V13.5, then upgrading. But both of these approaches still leaves me with the same error plastered across the dashboard.
Could Yoast provide a roadmap for resolving this, even when we’ve given the MySQL user full permissions as required?
Thanks.
