    I’ve been getting fatal errors on a few of my sites today:

    PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class 'Yoast\\WP\\Free\\Yoast_Model' not found in /nas/content/live/site/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/migrations/20180515101200_WpYoastIndexableMeta.php:72\nStack trace:\n#0 /nas/content/live/site/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/migrations/20180515101200_WpYoastIndexableMeta.php(20): WpYoastIndexableMeta->get_table_name()\n#1 /nas/content/live/site/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/vendor_prefixed/ruckusing/lib/Task/Db/Migrate.php(223): WpYoastIndexableMeta->up()\n#2 /nas/content/live/site/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/vendor_prefixed/ruckusing/lib/Task/Db/Migrate.php(196): YoastSEO_Vendor\\Task_Db_Migrate->run_migrations(Array, 'up', NULL)\n#3 /nas/content/live/site/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/vendor_prefixed/ruckusing/lib/Task/Db/Migrate.php(114): YoastSEO_Vendor\\Task_Db_Migrate->prepare_to_migrate(NULL, 'up')\n#4 /nas/content/live/site/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/vendor_prefixed/ruckusing/lib/Ruckusing/Task/Manager.php(172): Yoast in /nas/content/live/site/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/migrations/20180515101200_WpYoastIndexableMeta.php on line 72

    All of the sites in question are running Version 14.0.1 of Yoast

  • @brainfork Can you check if removing and reinstalling the plugin fixes this issue for you? This might be caused by an incomplete update.

    @djennez that didn’t resolve the issue, but it seems to have revealed it might be caused by my WP version being too old. I’ll review if updating resolves the issue tomorrow, but this can likely be closed.

    Got similar problem on a number of sites I own.

    Error Details:
    =============
    An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 72 of the file /home/myhost/mydomain.com/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/migrations/20180515101200_WpYoastIndexableMeta.php. Error message: Class ‘Yoast\WP\Free\Yoast_Model’ not found

    I was unable to login to the wordpress admin as well.
    After I disabled Yoast plugin through FTP, everything is working. This happened from yesterday.

    Hi everyone.
    Unfortunately I am experiencing the same issues. My WordPress is latest version.

    14.0.3 (just released) has fixed this. This error was most likely caused by incomplete updates where old files were not properly removed.

    Good info, thanks @djennez.

    Suggested steps to correct this problem? Remember, we don’t have access to the wordpress admin panel.

    Thanks in advance.

    @bruceschwalm either a normal update via WordPress (which does this automatically) or remove the plugin via (s)FTP and re-upload it. If you don’t have those options available I’d suggest contacting you hosting party.
