Pass parameter between WP pages using URL

  • Briefly,

    I created an FAQ database. Users query the database and pull relevant rows which are displayed on the page.

    Each displayed row has its ID embedded into the link. The goal is to have the user click on any given link, and pass the embedded ID to another page to display the answer.

    I know how to do this in asp, but am stuck in php.

    Can someone please advise the best way to do this

    GOT IT

    I used the following:
    $input_ID = $_GET[‘id’];

    Before I had made the post I had put in $input_ID = $_POST[‘id’]; on the receiving end.
