• Normal upgrade to version 4.6.2 failed with an error which I think said “Unable to delete old directory” or may have said folder or installation.

I have tried to reinstall from WordPress Plugin site but is says: “Installation failed: Destination folder already exists.”

No longer appears as Plugin on the list of Plugins.

This can happen for a few reasons, the most common being that WordPress experiences a timeout during the updating process (WordPress updates plugins by downloading the new plugin zip files from the WordPress server, and unzipping them overwriting the old plugins).

To fix this, you will need to manually remove the wp-content/plugins/site-reviews folder and then re-install Site Reviews as a new plugin from the Plugins page.

After that, everything will be back to normal.

If you are unable to use FTP, a simpler solution is here: https://pastebin.com/nFGfyMrx
