Displaying results on same page (no reload)

On the free version. Not sure if I’m understanding this option correctly.

AJAX Auto recount – To use this option please uncheck “Auto submit”. Use it to stay on the same page and see results filtered by AJAX.

When submitting the filter button, results display on a new page load (which then you need to scroll down the page to the results again)

How can I achieve results being displayed on the same page without a page reload?

Also, auto submit is a likely feature we want so looking to get the paid version. However it says uncheck auto submit. So, if we have same page load then we cannot have auto submit? (without the use of the filter button)
