I’m a writer with a bunch of books out already and a new one coming out. I’d like to create new multi-media versions of all my books — i.e., richly illustrated with photos, videos, music, and links — for the web. I’m trying to figure out how to best do this.

It seems that some form of blogging software makes the most sense (I’m willing to be corrected about that). But I want the books to paginate, rather than scroll — is there a way to use WordPress to do this?

And I want to create a pay barrier, after a certain point — i.e., people can read a certain amount for free, and then subscribe to read the rest. Is this possible with WordPress? I have not used it at all before, have searched for answers, can’t find anything already posted.

    Thanks.
