    Does this plugin split the cart/checkout as well to show the customer that the order will actually be two separate orders?

  • It does not split cart / checkout page but there are some check-boxes under “Optional” sidebar on settings page to notify customer about combined / splitted orders.

    @raissufyan is correct, it does not split the orders on checkout if “Auto Split” is OFF. Which is by default turned OFF when you install this plugin. So being on safe side, i would recommend you to test as @raissufyan suggested that clone an order and then try to split that, compare the results. If you feel that results are correct, then you are good to go for Auto Split.

    @webgmclassics must try with combination of variable and simple products. In case you need help, video tutorials are provided within setting sections.
