Password generation failure

Hi Guys

I’ve been using WP for some time and decided to opt for an install of the nightly build to make use of themes. I decided to start a new MySQL db and the install went fine off the 07.01 build release. However, when it generates the password and admin login after I’ve completed the first installation, it refuses to log me in. I tried lost password to generate a new and all subsequent attempts have failed. I tried to revert to an earlier release of WP (last stable .2) and I’m still having the same problem.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what is going wrong?
