My admin dashboard crashed after updating.
    Using WP 5.4
    Error message:
PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on null in […]/wp-includes/query.php on line 28

When I disabled Strong Testimonials (by renaming it with an “X” prefix), the dashboard came back.

  • They have already been notified. you will have to find an older version or leave it off until the update is fixed.

Noted. Thank you. I’m downgrading to previous version now.

Downgrading to 2.40.1 worked. Thank you.

    You’re welcome

@jdcohan From where did you get the older version? My website’s admin panel is not working with this plugin enabled.
    Thanks

    Hi guys,

We just released an update addressing this – please install it and let me know if it fixes the issue.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention, and I sincerely appreciate your patience with us as we worked to resolve this.

    Warmly,
    Mihaela

Since the plugin was crashing my WP, I moved the plugin folder outside “/plugins” directory and installed the latest version via WP > Plugins > Add Plugin.

The previous testimonials are all showing up but the UI is all messed up. Can you suggest what I may have missed and how to fix this?

    Hi @rsclmumbai,

Can you please clear your cache?

    Thank you,
    Mihaela

yes, done that already and checked in incognito mode.

    Hi @rsclmumbai,

    Please also clear CDN.

    Warmly,
    Mihaela

I’m using amazon cloudfront. It does not require clearing. When a new file is generated by WP Super Cache, Amazon endpoint gets a fresh copy.
Anything related to your plugin which I need to check?

    Hi @rsclmumbai,

Upon further checking it seems to be from our end.
We are investigating now and will release a new update.

    Thank you for your patience,
    Mihaela

    Hi @rsclmumbai,

Oh, I see. You have custom CSS added.
Can you please send it to us so we can take a look?
We changed some classes and it might be causing this issue.

    Warmly,
    Mihaela

I don’t have the old layout available in a browser, hence I cannot check the classes used via the element inspector. I don’t have any other way to know which classes were used for testimonials. If you like I can share the whole style.css, not sure if that will help.
    let me know.
    Thanks
