I’ve got a shop setup that uses a child theme, and the contents of the Description, Additional Information and Reviews tabs are all hidden. I have no idea how this happened, so I can’t reverse it. If I switch to the original theme they are all displayed, and yet I haven’t made any changes to the WC templates in my child theme, so I cannot figure out what is doing this. If it were a plugin then it would be the same on any theme. I’ve tried Googling this and all I get are articles about how to hide the tab content… At any rate, this is very strange, and I’ve spent way too much time trying to track this down, so hoping someone in the community can help out.

    Thanks!

  • @diggitydawg – since this only occurs with your current theme, your best bet would be to reach out to the theme’s developers to let them know. It’s very likely they already have a fix or are willing to look into one.

If you want to try one other thing before moving forward with that, you may try plugin conflict testing.
    ?
The best way to determine this is to:

    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Thanks Joey, but the theme actually works fine, just not the child theme. When I switch to the theme that my theme is a child of, the content in the tabs shows just fine. I’ll reach out to the theme developers and see if they know what’s going on.

    Thanks

    Hi there,

I’ll reach out to the theme developers and see if they know what’s going on

Sounds like a plan. I’ll close this on our end.
