ACF Post Object Relation

    I’m trying this plugin in current situation:
    I have books and authors. On the book, there is an ACF post object field which is already configured to output the POST ID.

    I managed to show all the books of an author on the single author page, so no problems there (great plugin btw).

    But I cannot show the author info (name, age, …) of a book on the book page. I tried to use the posts widget and use the same configuration as I did in the author page. Am I missing something?

    Just for the record: author is a custom post type, not a user.

    It sounds like you need a bi-directional relationship. Check out the ACF post to post plugin.
