  • Are you using wordpress.COM or using another hosted version of wordpress MU?

If you using a standalone version of wordpress then are you the admin of the blog if not you’ll have to get with the admin to add plugins.

Sorry, i dont quite understand what ur saying… but i AM on wordpress.com…

WordPress.com is a service. www.remarpro.com is software that you put on a server or on a hosting package that you pay for. WordPress.com controls what it’s users can do, ie don’t install plugins, edit themes. WordPress.com forums are here to clear up any other confusion.

    Thanks for clearing that up

I just went through the same thing, and went insane trying to figure it out. When you set up the account, there was an admin ID that was set up.

This is different from the generic ID that you use to log into the site. When I found myself forgetting the password, and asked WP for a reset, they sent me a reset for generic one.

That ID didn’t allow me to see the plugins. I wound up uninstalling and reinstalling WP on my godaddy account, then actually wrote down the user name and password that I created in the install, and I have been able to see the plugins, and the permalinks ever since.
