Hello @jtohme
As I already wrote to you via mail, your database is very small even after doubling its size.
Your database is only 70MB which is nothing! MySQL can handle millions of rows and gigabytes of data. So this is no relevant issue.
It’s absolutely normal that your database is doubling its size when you create a full clone out of it.
When you order two Big Macs do you wonder that they are double as heavy as one Big Mac?
If you don’t want to double the size of your database you will need to use another solution that stores the database on third-party servers if you don’t care about data privacy.
About your other issues:
I can not say anything about them because you did not mention them to me in your mail. Instead of that, you gave me the one-star rating here for helping and explaining to you how to delete the staging site and get back to your normal database size.
Thank you!
