No “Add Gallery” button after upgrade to WP 5.3

    Hello

    After i have upgraded WP to 5.3, i have no “Add Gallery” button when i’m adding new post.

    I can insert Gallery, i have then only “Select gallery” button, and only already prepared galleries i can use. Ofcourse, if I go directly to FooGallery, add new gallery, and then go back to my post – i can select this new gallery. But i think ‘Add Gallery’ button is missing.

    I did clear cache and clear CSS cache in FooGallery module settings.

    on 2.png – i can choose gallery, but there is no way to add new gallery like it was in previous version

    Sorry for the long delay in responding.

    I believe we’ve figured this out. The Gutenberg editor has never had an “Add Gallery” button – only the option to select which FooGallery to insert into the page.

    However… the original WordPress Classic editor did have an option to select a gallery or to “Add Gallery” which allowed creating a new gallery from the classic editor page.

    I suspect that’s what you may be remembering if you were originally using the classic editor and have now switched to the Gutenberg editor.
