A critical error has taken our site down. I’ve traced it back to this plugin attempting to access a file in an incorrect way. Can you please look into it?

SSH SFTP Updater Support v0.8.2
Notification v7.0.2

Thank you for reporting this.

We are using the WP_Filesystem using the abstraction layer, so I’d say it’s the wrong implementation in the SSH SFTP Updater Support plugin.

Hey Kuba,

As the author of the SSH plugin recommended, I put in a support ticket with WP Rocket. They, in turn, created a GitHub ticket and you can see what they did you resolve the issue here:

Hmm, it still feels like a hotfix for a bug in the SSH SFTP Updater Support plugin.

The problem is more complex because:
– Notification plugin uses another library to manage files
– This library is a wrapper for WP_Filesystem
– WP_Filesystem is overwritten by SSH SFTP Updater Support plugin
– They don’t implement the exists method properly

This should be patched in SSH SFTP Updater Support plugin.
