“Previous Entries” is Disappearing…

we are having a problem when it gets to

the previous entries and next entries links are disappearing….
If i click on the last visible post on that page, the post expands and the links reappear below, along with the rest of the post headings that should be there…
The theme we are using is called Minimalist 1.
any help would be really really appreciated.
