Once I verify my site with Site Kit and I receive the “return to your dashboard” message, I return to the “Sign in with Google to configure Site Kit” screen and the option to either sign in or reset Site Kit.

I am unsure as to why this is happening, I completed this process with only the Site Kit plugin activated so there are no conflicts from other plugins.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

@sillafekul Thanks for opening a support topic, hopefully we can assist. I noticed you have both the http and https versions of your site working. Can you follow the steps below to try and get connected successfully?
    1. Temporarily switch your “WordPress Address (URL)” and “Site Address (URL)” from https://kard.space to https://kard.space in your WordPress General Settings configuration.
    2. Logout of your WordPress admin dashboard
    3. Log back in and then undo the changes you made (reverting back to the full address with https
    4. Install an SSL redirection plugin (to ensure all http traffic gets redirected to https)
    5. Reset Site Kit and attempt setup once more

If the above fails can you please share your Site Health information and we can see if it’s possible to identify any other aspect of your site which may be impacting setup?

@sillafekul @jamesosborne I am experiencing the same issue this morning.

It worked! The suggested fix you mentioned worked in an incognito browser with a recently cleared cache. For the record, I used the “Real Simple SSL” plugin on the WordPress store and that worked fine!

    Thanks guys!

@sillafekul Good to know, many thanks for providing an update, including the SSL plugin suggestion. Hopefully that will assist others with the same mixed content issue.

Now that you can use the plugin as expected we’d love to hear your feedback.

I’ll also close your other support topic now that you managed to get connected. Thanks again.
