Re-compressing after replacing photos

    Hi there, a question about image compression module. I sometimes replace photos in Media by using “Enable Media Replace” plugin. But, even after replacing with an uncompressed new image, it’s not recognized as new (the image won’t appear under “Uncompressed images” section), so I cannot re-apply compression. How can I deal with the situation like this?

  • Hi there,

    If you’re just replacing a few images at the time, you can use the “mark as uncompressed” button, which is present on the media edit screen. Once you’ve marked it as uncompressed, you’ll be able to re-compress it.
