UAG Plugin Issues with Backend Blocks After Upgrade to WP5.4

    Upgraded to WP 5.4 and Ultimate Addon for Gutenberg is not formatting blocks correctly in the backend. The block columns have been shrunk to only display 1 or 2 characters on a line, making it impossible to edit the block.

    Example:

    On the frontend, the blocks appear to be displaying correctly so far.

    Same problem has occurred on two different websites that I am working on.

  • I second that. I have the same problem with WP 5.4

    I also have problem on backend associated with plugin and WP 5.4 update. I have containers set with white background but now it shows the underlying background image which makes it almost impossible to edit. Frontend displays fine. Advise if I should create new post.

    On my site, everything is fine in the frontend and backend. In already created blocks and newly created. Maybe you should try to clear the cache? I use the Astra theme.

    This is not a local cache issue.

    I’d like to let you know, this is a theme feature. The editable area for Gutenberg is controlled by the theme installed. If anyone of you is using the Astra theme please reach us out for dev version.

    We will be releasing the Asta Theme update in a few hours now.

    Those who are not using the Astra theme, I would suggest you to kindly contact your theme author in order to add the Gutenberg editor compatibility for WP5.4.

    I am also using Astra and I just updated my Astra theme and Pro plugin and all is well again. Thank you!
