• Dear Support-Team,

    after upgrading your plugin to version 5.8, some strange links appeared on the page where the shortcode to calendars is implementes, see Screenshot:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/klm66c4o689396x/Screenshot%202020-03-27%2010.25.14.png?dl=0

    I tried deactivating all Plugins except “amr event lists with ical files”, error still occurs.

    I tried switching theme to Twenty Twenty with only “amr event lists with ical files” activated. Error still occurs.

    Only downgrading your Plugin to 5.7 removed the issue, thus I assume this might be a bug in the current version?

    WordPress is on 5.3.2
    PHP is on 7.2.19
    Memory Limit is 100 M

    Could you provide some help on this issue?

    Regards Michaela

  • Hi,

    here is the same.
    I found the problem could be in events-shortcode an here in show_month_nav if set = 1. That means it can not be shown and will output this error.

    Any idea why?

    All the best

    Dirk

    Same here, since the last update of this plugin a text appears on top of page, where the calendar is displayed, like this:

    link=https://current-page.com/?listtype=1
    with spechail chars: https://current-page.com/?listtype=1

    This happens when using shortcodes
    show_month_nav=1
    or
    month_year_dropdown=1

    When setting shortcodes to 0 (zero), the message goes away.

    My guess is this problem occurs because of the language settings of a website, specifically if names of months contain non-english characters.

    Apologies – looks like a temporary debug statement was left in somehow. Updated version going up soon.

    Jep. On my site everything works fine.

    Thank you for fixing this problem.

    Stay healthy
